lyrics

In the distance, comes a cloud. There’s no resistance to its shroud. What began as a dust bowl has become a black hole. As it rolls… it devours souls… oh yeah. You can’t outrun what nature has begun. This turbulence under the sun, it can’t be undone… and so, here it comes. Here it comes. Have you considered the outcome? Yeah, you couldn’t… you couldn’t. Damn, this wasn’t part of your plan. It all happened so fast, temperatures dropped and the wind picked up as a blast. Dust, swirling around as you rust. This must bring you down man, in yourself, you can no longer trust. In yourself, you can no longer trust. And, you thought you were “the man”. Hot damn, I guess you did the best you can. This wasn’t part of your legacy, your plan. And now, you’re finding it hard to stand. Oh, yeah. Your dreams, slipping through your hands. Oh yeah. Your crown, broken now, when you hit the ground. Can you pick yourself up somehow? Oh, dust, swirling around as you rust. This must bring you down, in self doubt, you’ll drown… bring you down, in self doubt, you’ll drown. Here comes the cloud. Here comes the cloud. Here comes the cloud.
