Oh, I wanna unplug, from these all these wires. No matter what sharp tool I use, I can’t free myself from these wires… oh, and man, I’m so fuckin’ tired. Try as I may, try as I might, I can’t get it right… my body’s on fuckin’ fire. Damn… was I complaining again? Oh, please forgive me. Is it getting hotter in here or is it just me? I think it’s me, it’s always me. Or are my wires crossed? Oh, that could be… It’s hard to tell, ‘cause when I’m this lost, these connections get hot, making me something that I’m not, a dangerous loaded smoking gun scortched by life’s sun. Oh, what have I become? It’s these wires, it’s these wires, it’s these wires. And, so, I’ll burn. You say, "learn to control your heat”, and I say, “it’s something I just can’t beat”. You say, “learn to cool yourself down”, and I say, “I just can’t be unwound”. You say you wanna help? Then disconnect me from these hot wires! ‘Cause I’m on fire! Dissconnect me, disconnect. Dissconnect me, disconnect. Dissconnect me, disconnect. Dissconnect me, disconnect.

Reaching higher ground. And responding to the horn’s beaconing sound. A ceremony mound, for a leader to be crowned. Oh, I know what you'r e thinking, it’s gonna’ be you. Admired and remembered, for all the things that you do… well, with all that pride built up inside—with “humble” a word you’ve never known—man, you are just along for the fucking ride. Buckle up and listen… here we go. You are here, it’s time to learn, that respect from others takes years to be earned. “Oh, but I’ve paid my dues!” Yeah… it’s all about you. “You don’t understand!” I’m pretty sure that we do. Take a number, get in line. It’s not your time. Who’s the ram among the sheep? Who’s the ram among the sheep? That ceremony mound is actually a table… and we’re salivating, starving, ravenous, your journey shall be fatal. Your assumptions were absurd, now your prideful body feeds, it feeds the herd. We NEED you after all, we’re so glad that you came, step right up, to the front, we will chew on your family name… oh, how you’ll feed us, now you’ll feed us. We'll chew on your family name.

Each and every day, starting the same way, I check the time, and hope that I’m ON TIME for the job that I don’t have, the one that isn’t even mine. Every day is the same. Make a cup, and drink a cup, and then I’ll check the phone to see what’s up… nothing.

The message comin’ in, oh so clear, a clarion call to wake you, my dear. And, I wish I had better news, to whisper in your ear… it’s with sadness, I share, we’ll wait another year. Why, must we wait? Oh, this is more than we have known before. And, this separation, from shore to shore. I have never faced a foe like this before, distance is the enemy… and it’s the terrible war… a war. Kocham.

Invested, but tested, and wasted by worry… worry yeah. I’m in it to win it, I’ll always admit it, my identikit is forfeit, time that I resubmit it. It may come as a shock, if ya know me. But, I wear a mask to convince you that I am carefree. Okay, alright, the secret is out: I’m just a regular stressed out guy with a worry inside as I look to the sky, for answers and hope, that I know won’t come. Just like you, man, uncomfortably numb. Oh yeah. But, hey, I suppose that I should be honest. As a lyricist, a poet with a megaphone, I do promise: I’ll keep delivering lies, fabrication, false hope and anything you wanna hear. ‘Cause afterall hardcore’s about sharing this crap, from my voice to your ear, that’s why we all come here… that’s why we’re here! So, everything’s fine, we’ll all be ok, oh my gawd, we’re so lucky, hip hip hooray!

So fierce now, now that you’ve earned your stripes. And it apparent to all of us, and you, your service came at a terrible price. While you were overseas, we were here at home, praying on our knees. And, we really missed you, and I barely knew you, shooting off rounds and put strangers in the ground. You put strangers in the ground, with bloody body parts all around. Were the medals, and pins, and slaps on the back worth it to you after planning the attack? With a finger on a trigger, did you miss us too? You paper tiger.
